Marge

Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 June 2026

By using Marge you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What Marge is

Marge is a tool to record what you buy and sell and to calculate profit and ROI from the numbers you enter. It is descriptive: it reports your figures. It does not give financial, tax, investment or legal advice, and it does not move money or make decisions for you.

2. Your responsibility for accuracy

Calculations are only as accurate as the data you enter or import. AI and barcode features are best-effort aids that can be wrong — always review pre-filled values before saving. You are responsible for your own records, taxes and reporting.

3. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or use the AI/lookup endpoints for anything other than normal in-app use. Usage limits apply to keep the service available for everyone.

4. Optional AI features

Some features send content you choose to third-party providers for processing, as described in our Privacy Policy. Using them is your choice.

5. No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including inaccurate calculations or lost data. Keep your own backups (CSV export is available in the app).

6. Changes

We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
